Organic turmeric & red chilli powder

Two spices. One promise — nothing added, everything tested.

Every batch goes to an NABL-accredited laboratory and the numbers get published here — curcumin by HPLC, heavy metals by ICP-MS. Nothing added at any stage: no colour, no anti-caking agent, no filler.

Byadgi & Teja Red Chilli Powder

Byadgi for colour, Teja for pungency

Heavy metal test results

This is what the gap actually looks like

Most spice sellers write “lab tested” and stop there. Below is the lead result for each product drawn against the reference limit stated on the Macana test report. The full track is that limit. The green sliver is us.

Limits differ between FSSAI, Codex, EU and US standards — check the figures against whichever applies in your market.

Our tested result Reference limit
Lead in turmeric 0.08 mg/kg
0.8% of the reference limit Reference limit 10.0 mg/kg
Lead in red chilli 0.10 mg/kg
1% of the reference limit Reference limit 10.0 mg/kg

Five more metals are screened on both products: mercury, cadmium, arsenic, chromium and nickel. Every figure is on the batch report, available on request.

Sourcing, milling & testing

Four steps, described honestly

No part of this is unusual. It is just written down, which is rarer than it should be.
